Congratulations on registering to join us at The New Media Summit! I’m excited you’re coming and honored you’ve chosen to join us. Get ready for an event like no other!

First and foremost, we recommend you create an email folder titled ‘New Media Summit’ so you can easily access the information we send to you about the event. Please note that you may receive correspondence from multiple email addresses on the domain so, if you practice whitelisting, whitelist the entire domain. In addition, we will do our best to always use [New Media Summit] in the prefix of the subject line to help you with filtering messages from us, too.

We have reserved a limited block of rooms for New Media Summit attendees at the greatly reduced rate of only $175* per night plus applicable taxes.

The group rate will only be available until August 14, 2020 (or until it’s sold out) so please make your reservations early. Reservations received after this date will be accommodated on a rate and space availability basis only.

(And, we were able to secure this awesome rate for three days BEFORE and three days AFTER the event if you want to explore the San Diego area.)

Overnight parking is discounted to $19 per night, per vehicle.


The dress code is business casual. We recommend bringing a sweater, wrap or jacket, as our meeting room may be a bit cool for your liking… though Steve does tend to keep the room quite comfortable as he HATES the cold.)


Gourmet lunch is provided each day, including a vegetarian option. If you have further dietary restrictions please plan to make other arrangements for dining at lunch as it’s simply not possible to accommodate everyone’s individual dietary needs.

Starting August 4th, each week for four weeks, we will host pre-event training sessions for attendees of the Summit. In these sessions, we will cover a number of topics that will better prepare you for your NMS experience and for optimizing the opportunities you’ll have to meet with our fabulous Icons of Influence.

Please mark your calendar now for these dates and times: August 4th, August 11th, August 18th, August 25th at 10am Pacific.

We will register you automatically. Reminder emails will be sent before each session. Replays will be made available if you are unable to join us live. To that end, if you cannot make the live training sessions and have questions, please post them in our private Facebook Group for all to see. Chances are someone else has the same question too.
